The Sharing


In Slovenia, gardening is not just a task, it is a tradition. Almost everyone tends a small plot and lettuce reigns. 

There is saying that if you have no lettuce, your friends will give you lettuce.  No one should have to buy lettuce in the market.

 

In the Southern US, gardens with tomatoes reign and the tradition is similar. Tomatoes are shared with those who have none.
